Description

In Musical Improv Level 1, we’ll start to learn the art of improvising musical comedy content within song structures which will make you look like a magician on stage. We will learn the basics of creating songs and applying them to improvised musical scenes. This is a fun form of improv comedy and a collaborative class where we build skills together as an ensemble, with ongoing direction and feedback to help you flourish. This course will provide you with the initial training and foundational skills needed to begin building a strong musical improv practice. It is the entry point of our program and serves as the prerequisite for the long-form, levelled track.

No prerequisite, Musical Fun Times is recommended.
